Early Intervention Specialist
Dominique is a fully registered occupational therapist and clinical supervisor with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore (Registration No.: A1800242I). She has extensive experience working in the Early Intervention setting, providing therapy and support to young children below age 7 with developmental needs.

As an experienced early intervention specialist, Dominique has provided interventions and treatments to improve children's abilities to perform daily activities such as play, dressing, toileting, and writing. She has worked in transdisciplinary treatment teams consisting of early intervention teachers, speech therapists, physiotherapists and psychologists. Dominique has also collaborated with speech therapists in the feeding clinic to carry out feeding interventions for children.

Dominique is also a clinical educator with the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) & a AHPC approved clinical supervisor. She has also conducted training to fellow therapists and early intervention teachers, to share her knowledge on topics such as the Alert Program®, DIR Floortime®, toilet training, sensory processing, as well as interventions for children in the home and classroom settings.

As an experienced early intervention specialist, Dominique believes that partnerships with various stakeholders are integral for a holistic support system for the child. As a parent of one young child, Dominique understands the importance of working closely with families to provide appropriate support and facilitate the development and achievement of family-centred goals.

Dominique is trained and highly skilled in various aspects to enable her work in the early intervention setting - such as patient needs assessment, goal setting, intervention planning, clinical documentation and caregiver coaching. Her years of experience in early intervention has allowed her to gain a profound understanding of families with young children with developmental concerns.
